Portrait of Matt Ma

A creative perspective, with a technical foundation.

I'm Matt Ma, a Vancouver-based software developer and AI video creator. My background is in web development, API integrations, and business systems, and I hold a master’s degree in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Victoria in Canada.

I became interested in AI video because it brings two parts of my work together: the structure and problem-solving of technology, and the curiosity and emotion of visual storytelling.

I'm still exploring what this medium can become. For me, the goal is not simply to generate more content—it is to find better ways to turn an idea into something people can see, feel, and remember.
